Within the scope of the project “Intellectual Capital
Statement – Made in Germany” the expert group was
under the auspice of the German Federal Ministry of
Economics and Technology. Dr. Rolf Hochreiter, Christian
Liebich and Dr. Wolfgang Langen supported the activities
of the expert group and ensured the knowledge transfer
between the group and the Ministry. With the German
Aerospace Centre being the project execution organisation
Hans-Jürgen Herrmann is responsible for supervision of
the project development.

Dr. Daniel Andriessen holds a professorship
on intellectual capital at the INHOLLAND University in the
Netherlands and is director of the homonymous research
group, which was founded in order to examine the impact of
intangibles on people and organisations. Before he took
the professorship Dr. Andriessen was employed for 12 years
at KPMG as management consultant. During this time he
founded together with Prof. Dr. René Tissen the Knowledge
Advisory Group in 1997. In the meantime the number of
employees working in this department could be increased to
30 and has clients all over the world. Since 2004 Dr.
Andriessen is member of the EU “High Level Expert
Group” working in the field of Intellectual Capital
Statements

Dr. Karl-Heinz Leitner graduated in the field of information management and is
employed as research associate at ARC systems research, a subsidiary of the
Austrian Research Centre. He is principally involved with questions regarding
innovation management, strategy research and research policy. He conducted
various research and development projects for public clients and enterprises.
For several years now he is concerned with the assessment and accountability of
intangible assets especially the valuation of R&D within the scope of
intellectual capital statements. Karl-Heinz Leitner coordinated several project
on intellectual capital reporting for research organisations and enterprises and
is responsible for the development of intellectual capital statements within the
ARC.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus North teaches international corporate governance at the
economics faculty at the polytechnic University Wiesbaden. He develops
applicable concepts for the knowledge oriented management of enterprises. His
book “Wissensorientierte Unternehmensführung “ (Gabler 2002, 3rd Edition)
is a benchmark in this field. Prof. North is member of the jury which awards the
title “Wissensmanager des Jahres” and furthermore he was founding president
of the knowledge management society.

Dr. merc. Jan Mouritsen hold a professorship and is head of the operations
management department at the Copenhagen Business School. He published over 130
articles and books and is member of the editorial advisory council in more than
ten academic journals furthermore he had been awarded for his research on
several occasions. His interests and focus of research comprise the following
fields: management control, manufacturing accounting, operational management,
intellectual capital, knowledge management and intangible assets. Prof.
Mouritsen holds lectures in course of the MBA – program furthermore he is
being invited as orator to conferences and seminars at regular intervals. He
also works as a consultant in the competitive economy. In the time between 1998
and 2002 he was head of the research group which developed the Danish guideline
on intellectual capital on behalf of the Danish Ministry of Technology, Research
and Innovation. Since 2004 he is also member of the EU “High Level Expert
Group” working in the field of Intellectual Capital Statements.

Günther M. Szogs, educationist and system analyst, is employed at the
Commerzbank AG in the corporate service division and is concerned with Knowledge
Networks, Skill Development and Training Management. He is member of the LERNTEC
congress advisory council and the advisory council of the “Executive
Masters of Knowledge Management” course at the TU Chemnitz. He consults the
bank in the awards of the “Wissensmanger des Jahres, which is awarded since
2002 by Financial Times Deutschland the economic journal Impluls. Günther Szogs
is initiator of the expert network K3 (Karlsruher Kreis Knowledge). He comments
on aspects of knowledge networks and intellectual capital reporting in course of
national and international conferences
